I know Amsterdam is a beautiful city and its architecture is stunning, especially when the sun’s starting to come down in the late afternoon and the lights inside the buildings come up like cosy little fires.

I really love to travel, so for these winter holidays I booked 2 tickets and flew straight to Amsterdam with my  brother. We just had 3 days and were a little worried about how to stay in the city and enjoy the most of its atmosphere in those few days.
The most important thing for me when traveling is the trip has to become a full experience, a moment of exchanging culture. If you only choose to be a tourist, you won’t feel and touch the heart of a city.

But that hasn’t been the case because we found Citinerary.net. In a few words: GOING LOCAL!!  I think it’s a great service and a great experience to meet locals when you travel, it changes everything.
It’s not just the infos they have and can give to you. For us it has been the way to feel like a world citizen after meeting a local!

We met our local at a nice little café and he showed us the way to live Amsterdam and how  to interact with the city like a real local. Great!  Isn’t this an incredible opportunity? I’d wish this service could exist in every city I go in the future.
